Belonging from a highly versatile, evergreen and core background of Mechanical Engineering, I always feel very proud, not because of everything in this world in one or the way is due to Mechanical engineering, but because of the ever-growing and ever-evolving of Mechanical Engineering in diverse areas. One such diverse area is Mechatronics. (Basically, it is a combination of two words i.e., Mechanical and Electronics)

What is Mechatronics?
Mechatronics is an interdisciplinary branch of engineering that focuses on the combination of mechanical and electronics and also includes electrical engineering systems and computer science.
How is Mechatronics used in manufacturing?
There are many advantages of Mechatronics systems. Mechatronics systems have made it very easy to design processes and products. Application of Mechatronics facilitates rapid set up and cost-effective operation of manufacturing facilities. Mechatronics systems help in optimizing performance and quality with great accuracy.

Job profile includes that of Robotics Engineer, Scientist, Research / Automation / Mechatronics Engineer Machine Designer, Control System Engineer, etc. The initial pay package can range from 2.5-5 lakhs on an annual basis.
